Aromatherapy: Crockpot Version

Aromatherapy

Crockpots just aren’t for the Fall & Winter time. It’s time to take it out and make some beauty recipes. While we wait for Fall to roll around, let’s enjoy it by using ingredients that remind us of the season: Cinnamon, pine cones, pumpkin guts and apple pie. Sometimes it’s hard to capture the aroma of Fall in your own home. It can especially be hard to find an affordable way to fill your home with the fragrance of Fall every day of the season. Luckily, we can create this season with our crockpot! This DIY at home fragrance maker can be a money saver! With just a few ingredients you can capture the aroma of Fall in your kitchen!

WHAT  YOU’LL NEED:

1  Teasia Rose Black Tea K-Cup
Handful of cinnamon sticks
Orange rind
2 TBSP of whole cloves
5 Bay Leaves

DIRECTIONS:

This is one of the absolute easiest DIY’s you will come across this Fall.

  1. Fill your crockpot with water
  2. Brew your Teasia Rose Black Tea K-Cup as directed
  3. Add all ingredients
  4. Simmer all day long!

The best part of this DIY is you can make it your own, for example if you like more of a fresh baked treat smell, leave out the orange rind and add a TBSP of vanilla extract.
