Day 10: Black Tea
Flavor Highlights: I enjoy the nutty aftertaste with this black tea. This is a drink I would also have instead of a coffee because of the caffeine boost it gives me without getting shaky.
A whole wheat toast with strawberry jam is what I would pair this tea with. I normally will not go for this tea because of its’ bitterness, but to my surprise, this tea is incredibly smooth. The aroma is therapeutic and also delicious.

Day 9: English Breakfast Tea
Flavor Highlights: I really enjoyed the leafy aroma. This tea would go great with a splash of milk and a bit of sugar for that creamy taste. This flavor is not subtle. Although dark and bitter, I surprisingly still enjoyed it. The subtle citrus after taste pairs great with its bitterness intensity.
There’s a reason why this tea is named English Breakfast! It is a great substitution drink for coffee because of the energy you get from this tea.
Don’t forget to enjoy this tea with a scone or even a muffin to start off the day right. With a tea and pastry in hand, I’m ready to jump start my morning full of energy.
Day 6: Earl Grey Tea
Flavor Highlights: I like that this classic favorite is not just tasty but also is a great option for stomach pains or if you’d like to help improve your metabolism! I have a weak stomach so anything to keep me from constantly having to take medicine is a win for me.
I would recommend pairing this drink with a favorite sweet dark chocolate treat of yours and even some pecans for that crunchy texture.
I enjoyed the roasted taste and smell. Earl Grey is a definite go-to when craving a smooth drink that’s also healthy. Whenever I drink this tea, I imagine having a fancy tea party at my desk at work. This is definitely a mood booster as well.
For Day 4, I decided to pop in the Jasmine Green Tea kcup.
Flavor Highlights: I would recommend adding your favorite milk to this drink to help tone own the floral taste as it is pretty strong. If you like your teas sweet, don’t forget to add some sugar too!
Although this was not my personal favorite, I believe this drink would be best enjoyed while reading a book because of its’ energizing properties. I picked up on the floral aroma almost immediately. I didn’t like how much it smelled and tasted like flowers and I enjoy more toned down flavors for my tea. Several of my coworkers pick Jasmine Green Tea to be one of their top teas that they drink, but I’m more of a Green Tea type of girl.
