Paulina’s Teasia Tea-a-Day Tasting – Day 3 with Oolong Tea

TeasiaTeaTesting_OolongTea

Day 3: Oolong Tea

Here’s my take on Teasia’s Oolong Tea.

Flavor Highlights: This tea has a woody flavor with a hint of fruity and nutty aftertaste. I like that I could drink this as is or with honey and lemon, but most of all how many different flavors I Get out of one sip.

I would recommend this tea with a salty afternoon snack like a some roasted peanuts or even a small bag of potato chips. I enjoyed the flavor as well as appreciated the smoothness of it.  I thought this was a perfect middle ground from too strong and too light. This is a definite favorite!

The next tea that I’m going to try is Jasmine Green Tea. I really love green tea so stay tuned for my take on Jasmine.

Don’t forget, if you’re not sure which teas to try, there are variety packs with 4 different flavors in each series!

Tip #1 Add Shine to Dull Hair:
Use Teasia black tea or Teasia green tea  to rinse your hair to give them a boost of shine. Use one kcup and prepare as instructed on the box. Tip #2 Minimize Bug Bites:
Chamomile tea can be used to calm down sting and bumps. Use a Teasia chamomile tea kcup and brew as usual. Once the tea cools down, dip a cotton ball in the tea and apply directly onto the affected area and let it sit for a while to ease the itchiness and redness.

Benefits of Chamomile Mint Tea

chamomile

There is always time for tea. Especially Chamomile Mint which is one of our customers’ favorites. The flavor is so inviting, with a hint of peppermint that is so relaxing and warming, it really is a hug in a mug. Chamomile tea is made from a daisy-like plant, bringing that extra sunshine to each cup. Besides its minty flavor, there are several other reasons why you should be enjoying a glass of chamomile tea regularly.

THE BENEFITS

Here are the many wonderful benefits you get from drinking this caffeine-free tea.

SLEEP AID

Where Chamomile gets most of its recognition is the fact that it is a natural sleep-aid. Enjoying a cup of chamomile tea about a half an hour before you decide to hit the hay, will really make a difference in the period of time it takes you to fall into a deep sleep. Start counting your sheep…ZzzZZzzzzZz.

DARK CIRCLES

Waking up to dark circles under your eyes is like waking up to find out you used your last Teasia K-Cup yesterday. Tragic. However, make sure you stock up because the key to relieving those dark under eyes is Chamomile! Chamomile helps act as an anti-inflammatory so it will help soothe and refresh those tired eyes. It takes just 5 minutes. Take our K-cup and pour the contents out into the center of a 4×4 cut of muslin (cheesecloth). Bring the corners of the cloth together and tie with bakers twine into little tea bags. Brew tea as normal, once the bags have completely cooled place them on your eyes. Sit back, relax and enjoy the 10 minute mini spa session!

MUSCLE SPASMS

Sometimes our day to day life can get a little exhausting; all that stress on your body can lead to the dreaded back spasms. Glycine directly affects muscle spasms. Chamomile has been proven to help the glycine levels in your body rise. When the levels rise it helps calm the uncomfortable spasms you may be feeling in your back from time to time. Drink up!

ACNE & SKIN IRRITATION

Chamomile is loaded with bacteria fighting antioxidants, the same bacteria that produces acne. Adding Chamomile to your beauty routine might be just the trick to clear up your skin. The best way to reap the benefits is to brew our K-cups normally, then pour the tea into a separate bowl and hold your face in the steam. Chamomile also helps with bug bites, sunburns and eczema. Take some of those fancy tea bags you’ve made using our K-cups, bring them to a boil, let them cool and then place them on the irritated areas. This will help relieve your skin while conditioning the irritated area. Ahhhhhh…we can feel the relief already.

Chamomile Tea

STOMACH CRAMPS

Our favorite reason to enjoy Chamomile tea is to help relieve stomach cramps. The only natural remedy we have found that works as quickly and effectively as medicine. Drink this tea twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Also because our Chamomile Mint Tea has the perfect amount of peppermint in it, it can also help you when you’re feeling a little under the weather. Sore throat? Peppermint tea. Cough? Peppermint tea. Congested? Peppermint tea. Add some honey with this tea and it’ll soothe your cough in no time. The possibilities are endless!

Brew up a cup of Chamomile Mint today. We’ve made it even more convenient to enjoy by capturing the magic of Chamomile inside our ready to use K-cup!
