12 Days of Recipes: No. 2 – Apple Black Tea Cider

Are you thinking of those summer days where the weather is warm and you’re enjoying the outdoors? Well, when it gets too cold but you want to feel like you’re enjoying the warm summer sun, don’t forget to try some Apple cider with a tea type of twist. We are introducing Day 2 of our 12 Days of Recipes in December with our Apple Black Tea Cider recipe. 

The key to the perfect apple cider is Teasia Black Tea, bringing out the flavor of the fruit. Its unique caramel flavor adds to the sweet taste.

Ingredients:
½ Cup apple ciderApple Tree
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
2 Whole all spice
2 Whole cloves
¼ Teaspoon minced fresh ginger root (optional)
1 Teasia Black Tea K-Cup

Directions:

  1. Brew Teasia Black Tea K-Cup as normal
  2. Combine apple cider, ginger root, cloves, allspice and freshly brewed tea.
  3. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove spices out by using a strainer.
  5. Stir in brown sugar.

    Now you are ready to enjoy. Remember, you can enjoy this recipe with your friends and family!

12 Days of Recipes: No. 1 – Chocolate Peppermint Oolong Tea

There is nothing like December. Finally cool nights here in Southern California. More than that there are all the amazing flavors of winter. Especially one of our favorite’s is, peppermint.  Mix that with chocolate and tea and you’ll find us singing fa la-la-la-la all season long. 

We will be sharing 12 Days of Recipes during December through this Holiday Season.

Peppermint Oolong Tea

Ingredients:

2 ounces of semisweet dark chocolate
1 Teasia Oolong Tea K-Cup
¼ cup milk (more or less depending on your preference)
½ to 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract

Directions:

  1. Grate your semisweet dark chocolate using 2 oz for every cup of tea you make.
  2. Brew your Teasia Oolong Tea K-Cup like you normally would.
  3. Add your chocolate into a saucepan and stir in a ½ cup of your brewed tea.
  4. Wait until your chocolate is completely melted, then add the rest of your tea and whisk together.
  5. Add milk and peppermint extract then whisk together.
  6. Heat over low heat until steaming then serve.

Pro Tip:
Top this delicious tea with whipped cream and sprinkle grated chocolate over top.

Pumpkin Pie Dunkers Recipe

Halloween is near and pumpkin is filling the air, the farmers markets and well… almost every doorstep in America. The nights are getting longer and the air is cooler. It is a beautiful time to bake something festive. Chances are you are going to be invited to many Halloween parties this year and if you’re really spooky you might even be hosting a few! Sometimes it’s hard to not get wrapped up in the madness of scrolling on Pinterest for hours looking up cute Halloween recipes! I know I’m guilty. It’s important to me to have something festive but also nothing to crazy that I spend a full work day in the kitchen. That’s why these Pumpkin Pie Dunkers are perfect!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

¼ c. sugar
pumpkin dipper.jpg2 tbsp. cinnamon sugar
2 store bought pie crusts
egg wash
½ c. pumpkin puree
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
caramel

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a bowl mix: pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and sugar.
  3. Sprinkle flour on your kitchen counter and roll out one pie crust.
  4. Spread pumpkin mixture evenly leaving a ¼ border around the edges.
  5. Top with the final pie crust.
  6. Brush all over with egg wash
  7. Cut into fry like shape.
  8. Bake until golden, 15-17 minutes.
  9. Serve with hot caramel sauce for dipping and wash it down with Teasia Black Tea

Apple Teasia Recipe

October is here and we are loving these fall fruit tea recipes. Here’s one to make at home when it’s getting chilly out.

Here’s what you need:

1 Teasia Black Tea Kcups (makes 2 cups with 2 brews per kcup)
1 cup apple juice
fresh apple for garnish
cinnamon

Instructions
1. Brew Teasia Black Tea kcup like you normally would and repeat.
2. In a large heat proof bowl/jar, add tea and combine with apple juice
3. Thinly slice apples and add into tea mixture.
4. Add some cinnamon and stir.

So simple and so delicious. Share with a friend!

Ice Cream Teasia Floats

There is no better way to celebrate a hot summer day or any other day with our decadent creation. Ice Cream and Tea, a duo you normally don’t see paired together. After this recipe you’ll wonder why not! The most perfect summer treat for when you want something creamy and delicious.

What you’ll need:

Two Tablespoons of Teasia Rose Black Tea
½  cup of water
⅛ cup of sugar
Vanilla Ice Cream (French Vanilla Bean is our favorite)
Seltzer Water
Rainbow Sprinkles (Optional but encouraged!)

One of our favorite parts about this recipe is how simple it is!

Directions:

  1. Bring both the water and sugar to a boil on the stove, once the sugar dissolves, take the mixture off the heat and steep the tea for five minutes
  2. Pour 2 tablespoons of tea into a tall glass. (Prepare your Teasia kcup as you normally would.)
  3. Fill till the halfway mark with seltzer water
  4. Scoop ice cream till your cup is full!
  5. Optional: Sprinkle a little too many rainbow sprinkles on top
  6. Beat the heat and enjoy!

Teasia Iced Rooibos Lemongrass Sangria Recipe #8 of 8 (Non-Alcoholic)

Rooibos Lemongrass Sangria Tea Here we are, the last recipe of our Teasia Iced Tea Summer Recipe Series. Don’t forget to let us know which ones you’ve tried and which one is your absolute favorite! We had a great time making them in the office and had a great photo shoot. Thanks for taking the time to try all of our recipes.

So for our last recipe, we have an iced sangria. This recipe we made for our whole company and it was definitely a hit! Many people may not have heard about the Rooibos Lemongrass tea and I don’t think we’ve ever tried making a sangria out of this tea either until now. Take note that we made a non-alcoholic version perfect for an office party as well as kid-friendly too.

Our perfect Sangria’s main star ingredient is our Teasia Rooibos Lemongrass Tea K-Cups

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

8 Teasia Rooibos Lemongrass Tea K-Cups
4 cups water
2 cups white grape juice
Your favorite sliced fruit (we used peaches, pineapple and mixed berries)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brew Teasia Rooibos Lemongrass K-cups  and pour into a heat-safe container or glass pitcher.
  2. Add white grape juice and mix with a wooden spoon. Set aside to cool.
  3. Slice your fruit and add into tea.  Let fruit soak for at least two hours in the refrigerator. Serve cold and on ice.

Remember, this recipe is 100% alcohol-free and kid-friendly too.

Iced Jasmine Green Tea Mojito

We are down to two recipes left and they are really good ones. Today we have a mojito, yes we did say mojito. Who doesn’t love that lime & mint combo?

We’ve paired our Teasia Jasmine Green Tea K-Cups with the minty lime flavors of a mojito and we are in heaven! There’s nothing better than a cold iced tea with a splash of alcohol. YUM.

WHAT  YOU’LL NEED

2 Teasia Jasmine Green Tea K-Cups
1 Tablespoons Lime Juice
4 Mint Leaves
2 Teaspoons Sugar
1 ounce White Rum
Ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brew your Teasia Jasmine Green Tea K-Cups as normal and set them in the fridge to cool. Make sure you use heat proof mugs/pitchers.
  2. In a tall glass,  muddle the mint, sugar and lime juice together until your kitchen (or our case office smells like mint).
  3. Fill your cup ¾ of the way with ice and add in your choice of white rum
  4. Add in your chilled Teasia Jasmine Green Tea

Stir & Enjoy! You can easily double this portion and have a get together with friends or you can just keep this recipe to yourself to enjoy (we won’t tell.)

Teasia Iced Lavender Rose Black Tea Recipe #4 of 8

Lavender Rose Black Tea

Today we are revealing our fourth recipe. This recipe reminds us of a day out with the girls at our favorite brunch spot! This tea has such a unique flavor and can really be great for brunch and for a warm summer night with friends. The kick of bourbon is really a great mix with a little drizzle of honey.  It’s everything you want in a summer drink and more.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

3 Teasia Rose Black Tea Kcups
16 oz .or 2 cups bourbon (optional)
¼  tsp edible lavender ( plus some for garnish)
Honey

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brew Teasia Rose Black Tea Kcups as directed in your Keurig and pour into a pitcher filled.  Make sure your pitcher is heat proof safe.
  2. Add in lavender and let steep for 5 minutes. 
  3. Add an additional  cup of cold water and refrigerate until it’s cold enough to enjoy.

When you’re ready to serve, use a shaker and add 4 oz of tea, 2 oz of bourbon, a drizzle of honey.

Shake. Pour. Garnish with lavender.

Teasia Iced Pineapple Chamomile Mint Tea Recipe #2 of 8

Iced Pineapple Chamomile Mint TeaToday we are revealing our second recipe of our Summer Iced Tea Recipe Series. YUM. Don’t forget, if you missed yesterday’s Teasia Peach Green Tea recipe, you can find it here.

ALOHA! There is NOTHING we love more than a blended fruity drink. This tropical drink screams summer! The sweetness from the pineapple is perfectly balanced out by the fresh taste of mint. Grab your hammock and your favorite book and get ready for major relaxation vibes!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

4 Teasia Chamomile Mint K-Cups
½ cup of pineapple chunks (frozen works too)
2 cups of ice
2 tablespoons of chopped mint
Honey 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brew your Teasia Chamomile Mint Tea as normal and set aside to cool.
  2. Add cooled tea, ice, pineapple chunks and a drizzle of honey to a blender and blend together.
  3. Stir in the mint leaves

Teasia Iced Peach Green Tea Recipe #1 of 8

During these hot summer months we know we are always trying to look for ways to cool off. What better way than to brew up some iced tea and add some fruit to it!

Today we are introducing our 8 days of iced tea recipes using all of our 8 delicious flavors from our Formosa Series and our Floral Series.

One of my favorite fruits are peaches. Especially during the summertime, there is nothing better than a sweet, juicy peach. Except of course, a sweet glass of iced peach green tea. To take the edge off of the heat, this drink is perfect to pair with a summertime BBQ or a lay out by the pool.

Teasia Peach Green Tea Recipe

WHAT  YOU’LL NEED:

5 Teasia Green Tea K-cups
2 large peaches
½ cup of water
½ cup of honey or agave nectar (if you want this recipe to be vegan-friendly).

DIRECTIONS:

First off combine water and honey in a saucepan and heat on the stovetop, stirring constantly. Once the honey has dissolved set aside to cool. This will be your simple syrup.

Brew the Teasia Green Tea K Cups as directed and add into a heat safe pitcher and set aside to cool.

Puree peaches and mix with 1 cup of water. Strain the puree to eliminate any extra pulp.

Combine peach puree,  tea, simple syrup and add a cup of water.

Garnish with peach slices.
